Fromage is a simultaneous worker-placement board game featuring a rotating board that ages your cheese. Carefully plan which cheeses to make to efficiently manage the availability of your workers. Since it's always your turn, Fromage condenses the feeling of a 2-hour Euro game into ~40 minutes.

The Tri-Layer Board can be configured in any order. Slot Inserts into each quadrant to mix up the cheese spaces. With 5,424 possible setups, the game will never go stale!

Custom Worker Meeples fit perfectly over your Wood Cheese Tokens. Cutout spaces keep pieces in place when the board rotates.

168 Wood Tokens. The Structures, Fruit, and Livestock tokens come in a variety of shapes (Limited Edition Only).

Use Asymmetric Player Boards or draft your own set of Structure Ability Tiles. There's so much to explore and the game only gets better with age!

Neoprene Lazy Susan Mat (Limited Edition Only)

If you choose the Standard Edition, you'll find it's quite easy to rotate the game board on its own by gripping the finger holds on each end.

If you back the Limited Edition, you'll get a play mat to put under the board. It allows for a one-finger push for an even smoother and more satisfying spin. A wood disc keeps the board centered on its axis (like the The Search For Planet X board). Also, the mat rolls up and fits in the game box!

It's a lot of work to learn rules, and no amount of animated GIFs will give you the true experience. It's way easier to have someone explain the game to you.

So, what better way to learn the game than to have the creators teach and guide you as you play the game? Join the R2i Games Discord channel and sign up for a session led by Jeff, Andrew, or one of our trained game teachers.

Play sessions will be online using Tabletop Simulator. Once you have TTS installed you can download Fromage for free.

Your Ideas Wanted!

We're trying a different approach to stretch goals. Instead of unlocking pre-planned upgrades at arbitrary funding levels, we invite you to suggest upgrades in the comments. If we like the idea, and if there is strong support from backers, we'll get a quote from the manufacturer. If the price is reasonable, we'll add it to the game or make it available as an Add-On in the pledge manager.

Getting a quote from a manufacturer can take weeks, so it's possible that few stretch goals are unlocked during the campaign. Please manage your expectations accordingly.

We believe this more inclusive approach will give everyone a voice in what they would like to see in the game. We want to create the best game possible, and your feedback will help make that happen!
